Beloutch Sumac rugs bring together the intricate artistry of Beloutch weaving with a distinctive Sumac technique. Kilim, Sumac and pile techniques can be combined to create a jewel-like surface with remarkable depth and dimension. Traditional motifs become almost sculptural, revealing themselves through texture as much as colour. Each piece is an extraordinary testament to patience, skill and the enduring creativity of tribal women weavers.
